The 2019 Blackie Wills Golf Classic

Thanks to our partners, friends and colleagues, our second annual Blackie Wills Golf Classic & Gala was a huge success, raising over $530,000.

This year, we will be hosting the Blackie Wills Golf Classic on Monday, September 9. Proceeds and contributions raised at the golf tournament will benefit the Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund, supporting The Wills Group’s Community Engagement efforts.

The Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund

The Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund was created in remembrance of our former President Julian Blacklock “Blackie” Wills and his commitment to giving back to local communities. Carrying on this tradition, The Wills Group created the Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund to actively reinvest in the communities in which we operate and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get their basic needs met and create a better future for themselves and their children.

The Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund is a component fund within Chesapeake Charities, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Set on 1,000 scenic acres in Maryland’s Baltimore-Washington, DC corridor, Turf Valley Resort is located in beautiful Ellicott City, Maryland.
